Rev. Carter Sloan - Assistant Pastor
Pastor Sloan has been at New Hope Baptist since September 22, 1998. In 1964 he graduated from Bible Baptist Seminary in Arlington, Texas. He and his wife Lorita served as missionaries in Northern Brazil for four years. Pastor Sloan has been in Christian work since 1957. His wife helps the Church in our music program and helps with the financial records.

Kenny Scoggins - Youth Pastor/Music Minister
Pastor Kenny has been at New Hope Baptist since April 2011. He graduated from Crown College of the Bible in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry. Kenny was called into the ministry at the age of 12. Growing up in a pastor's house, he learned many things about the ministry providing him with good insight of church ministry. His life verse is Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."

Janet Orange - Church Secretary
Janet has been at New Hope Baptist since 2001. She has experience as a church secretary at several local churches. She has served in the church as Sunday School teacher as well as being very active in the leadership of our Women's groups and Bible Study at New Hope. She is the wife of Kenneth Orange, Deacon Chairman. She and Ken have two daughters, Kristy Orange and Mendy Bryant.

Mike Whorley - Kings Kids
Mike has been at New Hope Baptist since 1998. He and his wife Julie have two daughters, Eden and Sommer. Mike also serves as a Sunday School teacher and Deacon. His life verse is II Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."
